Dr. Leventis holds a DDS (1999) in Dentistry, an MSc/Clinical Specialty in Oral Surgery (2004) and a PhD (2010) from the Dental School of University of Athens, Greece. In 2008 he also attended a post-graduate program in Periodontics and Implantology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany.

He is currently on the Faculty of the Dental School, University of Athens as a Visiting Clinical Instructor and Researcher, where he teaches under and post-graduate students Oral Surgery, Bone Grafting and Implantology, while undertaking extensive experimental research.

Dr Leventis has been invited to lecture extensively worldwide on various scientific topicsin Oral Surgery. He is the author of numerous scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, Clinical Oral Investigations, TripleO, Materials, Implant Dentistry, Compendium and EDI Journal.

Dr Leventis teaches dental clinicians and post-graduate students throughout the UK in numerous courses, seminars, congress lectures, webinars, one-to-one mentoring sessions and post-graduate implantology programs. He is also involved in the teaching programs of the ADI (Association of Dental Implantology) – the primary scientific education body in Implantology in the UK. Based in central London, his private practice and clinical research focus on Implant Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Tissue Engineering. He is a member of many prestigious International and British scientific societies, a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), is an active member of ADI, a member of Leading Implant Centers, a member of the Slow Dentistry Global Network, and a founding member of ICOI-Hellas (Greece).
