Prof. Horia Barbu is the President of the General Dental Council of Bucharest, Romania, starting
December 2023.

Prof. Horia Barbu is the former Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine within Titu Maiorescu University,
Bucharest, Romania for 6 years (2014-2020).

Prof. Horia Barbu is the Head of Oral Implantology Department for undergraduate (dental students) and
postgraduate (master students) at Faculty of Dental Medicine within Titu Maiorescu University, Bucharest, Romania.

Starting with 2020 Prof. Horia Barbu is also appointed by the Ministry of Health as the Head of the
Postgraduate Residency in Dento-alveolar Surgery (Oral Surgery - 3 years specialisation) at Faculty of Dental
Medicine within Titu Maiorescu University.
