Professor Petra Surlin is the Head of Periodontology Department from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, Romania. Her research focused in the last years mainly on the field of periodontal medicine, especially on the interactions between periodontal disease and gastrointestinal pathology, rheumatoid arthritis and cardiovascular diseases.
